60+ Feldpost Grouping Marine-Flak-Abteilung 282 / RAD Abteilung 3/39

Bundle of 60+ wartime letters sent by one soldier to his family in Ostfriesland.

The letters date from 1943 onwards. The soldier initially served with Batterie Marine-Flak-Abteilung 282 and was later transferred to RAD Abteilung 3/39 in 1944.

The collection consists of untouched, handwritten letters, some of which also contain small drawings.

Few particularly interesting letters mentions and discusses D-Day.
